Our History

RTB (Ebbw Vale) Rugby Football Club are a 'Welsh rugby union' club based at the heads of the valley at Ebbw Vale, South Wales. RTB RFC are full members of the 'Welsh Rugby Union' and are a feeder club for the Newport Gwent Dragons.
RTB are blessed to have a Mini/Junior section and run sides at every age level from Under 7s up to Under 13s, and a youth team. The Club was formed in 1953, as part of the 'Richard Thomas and Baldwins (RTB) works club,' which ran two senior and a youth side. The club was affiliated to the works club and was also a full member of the 'Gwent Districts Rugby Union,' games were played at the Hilltop RTB Stadium to where RTB home games are still played to this day.
