RTB Steelers U10's vs Blackwood

RTB Steelers U10's entertained Blackwood this weekend as part of the showcase entertainment before/during the Ebbw Vale v Neath game. In two games played the RTB boys shaded a good quality contest to emerge victors. Both sides showed a great deal of commitment, skill and vision to entertain the crowd. Several comments were made to the coaches from members of the crowd impressed by the skills, awareness and general team ethics shown by players so young.

All players performed to the best of their of ability in a good quality encounter, in particular Josh Davies, John Atkinson, Josh Hathway and Mason Lewis deserve a special mention for the effort shown.

The age group would like to thank DJD Builders Ltd and J. Gallier UPVC Ltd for kind sponsorship that assisted towards this day. Additionally we would like to thank the officers at Ebbw Vale RFC for allowing us to showcase as part of match day environment along with Blackwood MJRFC for agreeing to come up to and join us in this venture.
