Fixture

The U13's travelled to the Rhondda to face the 12 players of Tonyrefail on Sunday.  It was clear from the kick off that this was an opposition we could do well against and so it turned out with the T's running in a total of ten tries, 7 of which were converted, whilst keeping a clean sheet which is a first for this team.  Credit goes to Tonyrefail as 9 of their 12 players were U12's & they gave a good account of theirselves.  But as the saying goes you can only play what's in front of you & we did that with plenty of style. Half of our tries came from our own half with strong running & bursting through tackles.  This was the theme for a lot of the game & the pleasing thing for the coaches was the way we defended as a line when they had the ball, we presented in the rucks with pillars superbly all game & we kept our structure throughout when it may have been easier to lose shape.  Credit goes to hatrick man Tyler & Man of the match Declan Price.
